Jamie Foxx was spotted giving President Elect Barack Obama brotherly love at The “We Are One” Concert at the Lincoln Memorial yesterday afternoon. The free concert was star studded with appearances from the likes of Denzel Washington, Bruce Springstein, U2, Jamie Foxx, Mary J. Blige, Tom Hanks, John Legend, Queen Latifah, Usher, Jamie Foxx, Beyonce and more. Mary J. Blige performed “Lean On Me” while Jamie Foxx later made the crowd laugh with an Obama impersonation. Usher and Shakira joined Stevie Wonder on the stage to perform “Higher Ground” and Beyonce concluded the show with a performance of “America The Beautiful”.

A Different Keyshia!

Thanks to Rap-Up.com they have revealed the official album cover for Keyshia Cole's 3rd studio LP 'A Different Me' (due December 16th). Keyshia's look has evolved she has become a woman and I'm loving it!

I like the way the graphic artists made KeyCo’s tattoo the central focus of the album and the way it seems to float off her arm and wrap around her body. [Cause I Hate That Tatoo]

Random Thoughts

As a man I would teach my son to love himself, to enjoy his youth, to respect women.

I would let him know there is no one right way to success and that life is a series of risk.

I would teach him to take care of himself, how to manage money and how to manage people.

I would teach him how to open doors and pull out chair and how to properly approach his desires. I would teach him how to read people and poetry.

I would teach him how to dress, and to pray, and that yes he too is beautiful.

I would teach him about hard work...

I would teach him things as a male that I had to learn on my own.

I would teach him to love his mother and take the words of his father to heart

Yup that's what I would teach my son....

In class at 11:45 and my mind is in so many other places.

I wonder what life would have been like with two parents instead one.

Oh well LIFE was and still IS Good!

Mr. West Locking Love Down

Following Kanye's debut of new single 'Love Lockdown' at the VMA's last Sunday, the studio version of the cut has surfaced. With the Chi-Town rapper not actually rapping lol, this one really requires one to open their mind to 'get it'. I'm really liking this one all the same though. Kudos to Kanye for stepping out of the box.

'Love Lockdown' is the first single to be lifted from Kanye's forthcoming LP '808's and Heartbreak', due December 16th (get them Xmas sales, Kanye!).

[Glowing] Still Strong

Kanye West's highly-acclaimed 'Glow In The Dark' tour is on its way back to the UK this November. Peep an excerpt of the press release I found online earlier this week.

A visionary live music artist; West’s Glow in the Dark show has achieved critical acclaim cross the world. This will be the first time UK fans can watch the NEW show that has been touring the globe. West’s atypical hip hop set design includes a robot designed by acclaimed artist Christian Colon, creatures designedz by the legendary Jim Henson creature store, as well as Daft Punks Pyramid. An epic show that transcends the all too familiar boundaries of hip hop. Tickets are on-sale now, available through the 24-Hour hotline: 08444 775 775 or online http://www.aeglive.co.uk/

Being that I personally experienced the Glow In The Dark Tour for myself

I personally think everyone in the UK should go and see this man do his thang.

STOP JOCKIN JAY-Z!!!!!

By now you probably have seen the video of Solange snapping at the news anchor for mentioning Jay-z and Beyonce in her intro. Her reaction has been pegged everything from “tacky”, “classless” to down right “ghetto”. Yesterday, Solange took some time out of her busy promo schedule to address why she was angry. She also made sure she added “stop jockin’ jay-z”. Hopefully, she’ll gain some of her fans back… I know I am still fan eff the bull sh*t (around the 1:00 mark)

Mr. West [Take 2]

If you cant tell from my photos I had the best seats I have ever had in my life and trust me I didn't need to zoom a gosh darnit thing!

Many of you might remember this video a few months back if you don't shame on you cause I posted it but now I fully understand what Diddy meant when he said Mr. West did his mother fucking thing I remember watching this at home and saying I cant wait to see it.

Now down to business

Anyone who claims that the concert was wack or not entertaining excuse my french but what the fuck are you watching you have to be blind but even a blind man can tell that Yeh did his thing last night. Kanye's performance proved to me that he is the number 1 artist in the rap business and I don't care what anyone else says the man delivers on another level unlike anything that I have seen in my life. Now as far as the set I really really really LIVE for Kanye's set might I add that he is rapping straight line for line with not one hype man. No one is giving him a break to breathe he didn't miss not one beat. I am speechless as I sit here and type this I cant even find the words to say he gave his all with no thought in mind but perfection. There so much TRUTH in music. And I don't mean any disrespect to any of the other artist that were there but Kanye obviously stole the SHOW. The performance was star studded from Teyana Taylor, Matthew Santos, Will-I-Am, Jay-Z, Andre 3000, & Q-Tip was in the building.

If he still has one more performance left RUN RUN RUN and get your tickets even if your in the nose bleed!

Keri Hilson Promo Pics

As the release of Keri Hilson's debut LP 'In A Perfect Word' draws nearer (due September 23rd), new promotional shots for the project have surfaced. Keri looks great I can honestly say for the first time long hair isn't doing it for me I used to say the "bigger the better" well as of the year 2008 short hair has rocked my world. I love Keri and I can not wait for a debut she looks like the definition of [Class] in this photo!

Its Ms.Tatyana Ali To You

Tatyana Ali graces the cover issue of King magazine and opens up about her character Ashely Banks that we fell in love with, her new cd and movie coming out and she gives us some pictures that are now my new screen saver!

If you’re looking for an interview where Tatyana Ali opines over her six years playing Ashley Banks on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, go watch Nick-at-Nite. It’s all about the present and the future for the 29-year-old Long Island, New York, cutie. Both have been looking bright since the admitted “dork” graduated with honors from Harvard. On the film front, the Young & the Restless star is fighting for her life in the double-crossing crime drama Hotel California (costarring Tyson Beckford), and musically, she’s prepping her sophomore effort, The Light.
The same can be said about the music business, yet you’re still dropping a new album.I found my voice with this album, The Light. I can never stop singing. Remember, I recorded my first album [1998’s Kiss the Sky, MJJ Music] when I was 16, and other people wrote most of the songs. I really wanted the next album that I did to express who I am. And the only way I can do that is to write it myself. So in that sense, I found my voice.

I'm Stepping Out Hotter This Year...

Nas' controversial 'untitled' LP has ended Lil' Wayne's four week rain a top of the Billboard 200 this week, after selling through 187,000 units. The charting becomes the rapper's fifth album to top the chart, the last being 2006's 'Hip Hop Is Dead' which sold 345, 000 copies upon its release during the Christmas period. I think we will stay there for a while Nas has a loyal fan base and I happen to be one of them!

Here you see Nas protesting against the very popular Fox 5 new's channel is it publicity? or is it really that it’s about time some one protests fox they been taking racist shots at us blacks for the longest.

You guys be the judge
