Overall, the AMA’s were pretty damn boring. Beyonce’s performance looked pre-recorded and her dancers the [dark skinned] one looked like she messed up or maybe my television here in North Carolina is slow who knows....and Rihanna has that “shut up and show up” syndrome. Sort’ve like Cassie. I’m not saying she can’t sing, I’m just saying she’s mastered the art of looking fly..but her performances are never memorable like she is always dry to me remember when she performed "Take A Bow" at the 2008 BET awards see many of you might not remember cause it wasn't memorable nevertheless her effin boots were BADD. I’m not sure why Kanye is giving all of his awards away to Lil Wayne this year but to each is own… And Chris Brown won artist of the year over Coldplay????? Even he was shocked…I guess how Jay upgraded Bee Chris has mos def been upgraded!

So today is the day and for the few that know me on a more personal level know that I have had the cd for a week now and have fell in loved with it from the time I had it.

SASHA FIERCE is my alter ego," says Beyoncé, "and now she has a last name. I have someone else that takes over when it's time for me to work and when I'm on stage, this alter ego that I've created that kind of protects me and who I really am. That's why half the record, I AM…, is about who I am underneath all the makeup, underneath the lights, and underneath all the exciting star drama. And SASHA FIERCE is the fun, more sensual, more aggressive, more outspoken side and more glamorous side that comes out when I'm working and when I'm on the stage. The double album allows me to take more risks and really step out of myself, or shall I say, step more into myself, and reveal a side of me that people only know me see

Beyonce has devoted half of the tracks on this double-disc set to her feisty alter ego Sasha Fierce (think "Single Ladies & Get Me Bodied"). But, it's the classic, more timeless R&B songs on the "I Am" portion of the cd that seem like a much-welcomed stretch for the singer. Lead single "If I Were a Boy" is the first taste of Beyonce's new found love for powerful ballads, as she croons about reversing gender roles. On "Halo" she sings in a lower register than usual over big drums and an epic piano pattern and belts emotively ("I don't want a broken heart/And I don't want to play the broken-hearted girl") on the Babyface-penned "Broken-Hearted Girl." Songs like "Video Phone," with its repetitive, vibrating beat, and the thumping "Diva," [The New Female Anthem Think "A Milli] a collaboration with Sean Garrett, don't break new ground but more than provide the radio-ready dance tracks for which Beyonce is known for. She has grown on so many levels with this cd although it every different from her debut and sophomore effort. The new cd has complimented her new found swagg "Women hood" I give the cd 5 stars and much more.

Speaking out for the first time since the burial of her mother, brother and nephew, Jennifer Hudson has thanked fans for their support via her official MySpace:

Jennifer Hudson has told fans that she takes "great comfort and strength" from their messages following the fatal shootings of her mother, brother and nephew.The Dreamgirls actress wrote the thank you note on her MySpace page ten days after her slain family members were laid to rest.

She wrote:

"I want to thank each and every one of you for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. My sister and I take great comfort and strength from your love and concern."Darnell Hudson Donerson and Jason Hudson were found shot dead at the family home in Chicago on October 24. The body of Hudson's seven-year-old nephew Julian King was discovered in an abandoned vehicle three days later.

My prayers go out to her I feel so awful even If she wasnt Jennifer Hudson my heart would go out to any one who goes through this.

Keyshia Cole covers the latest issue of Billboard magazine. Inside she talks about her new album which will be released on December 16th

She goes on to say that the first two albums were more … painful,” she tells Billboard over lunch in Los Angeles. “It’s a different me this time: a young woman who’s still growing and finding myself, exploring life through different routes musically and in other areas. I wrote more about other people’s situations than my own. I’m moving forward.”

The set, due December 1th, is also set to feature a collaboration with Monica. Interesting. I'm definitely paying a lot of attention to this record, as I really feel as though her team scored an own-goal by releasing 'Playa Cardz Right' as the first single. It's just not first, second or even third single material but what do I know . I love Keyshia either way! I feel like she is overlooked.
